The opportunity is about leading Adobe Captivate, the most awarded Rapid e-learning authoring application! We are now faced with the exciting challenge of making the re-architected product successful and executing on the cloud journey by creating a new solution. Through this transition, you must help make Captivate the most productive e-learning authoring solution in the world. You will join a robust agile team that collaborates and works across all functions of true product development. You must be that individual who is highly engaged, motivated, and excels at critical thinking and leading the team!What you’ll doBe part of the Adobe Captivate PM team and play the lead role.Work closely with marketing, customers, and industry experts to perform customer, industry, and competitive analysis to define the near-term and long-term business strategy.Work with executives within Adobe to champion product vision and strategyWork with multiple external stakeholders to expand product adoption - customers, partners, and community experts.Work with multiple internal business stakeholders to drive product strategy - marketing, sales, and cross-Adobe product management.Work closely with engineering & design teams to define product requirements and specs and review the product design.What you need to succeedProven track record of defining the product vision and strategy; delivering successful products.Graduate degree in Computer Science and MBA or equivalent experience.10+ years of proven experience in the PM role.Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to be able to coordinate sophisticated projects.Ability to create and manage strategic partnerships with both internal and external business stakeholders.Ability to prioritize in ambiguous situations.Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn and adaptExperience in agile software development practices within a large team environment is desirable.
