The ideal candidate will have a proven record of building highly successful business relationships, and a strong desire to continue such relationship building with the Adobe Commerce business. Additionally, this candidate will bring a high level of enthusiasm to the support of the Adobe Commerce business, including a committed dedication to providing timely, accurate, and well-reasoned responses to queries from the business. This full-time position will be based in the United States in either our Lehi, Utah, Austin, TX, or a California-based location.What You'll Do Collaborate with internal business partners on the review of Adobe products, services, and initiatives to assess legal compliance and provide practical advice.Provide support and establish positive relationships with various business stakeholders including product marketing, product management, engineering, technical operations, client care, pricing, and sales to advise the business unit on legal and business issues through all stages of development and marketing, from concept to launch.Collaborate with subject matters leads in Adobe’s legal department, including privacy, patent, copyright, and licensing attorneys to analyze legal risks and support the business.Draft, negotiate, and supervise a wide variety of agreements, including inbound and outbound technology licenses, product documentation, and partnership agreements.Manage product launch processes, including technology release checklists and questionnaires.Work closely with management to ensure successful prioritization and understanding of the role.What You Need to Succeed J.D. from an accredited law school and necessary bar membership.A minimum of 5+ years of relevant legal experience.Experience with, and interest in, privacy issues.Proficient at drafting and negotiating agreements.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Comfort providing legal and practical advice to business management of multiple levels, including an innate ability to provide such advice in a non-disruptive manner.Technical background in software products and development, SaaS, or cloud-based services industry; experience with e-Commerce a plus.Desire to take on greater responsibilities as skills enhance.Ability to successfully prioritize projects, or otherwise seek guidance from management.Proven track record of forming and cultivating professional relationships across the business.A bias for sharing relevant information across the business teams, within Adobe’s legal department, and with peers across the legal Digital Experience team.Be able to exercise common sense, be a creative problem solver and have good business instincts.Responsiveness is critical.A positive attitude.A genuine desire to support, help develop, and instill confidence in other team members.Ability to become an equal partner to the business teams, sharing not only legal and practical advice, but also partnering in bearing the burden of the challenges the Adobe Commerce business teams face.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $108,600 -- $230,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
