This person will be responsible for testing various features in Acrobat/Reader products, so knowledge about testing and development of desktop applications will be a plus.Test Automation and building testing frameworks is part of the job hence hands-on solid understanding in the programming domain in one of the following languages (C/C++, Python, Java Scripting) is required.Run queries on production/test data, bring insights from data, visualize via analytics tools, develop analytics dashboard such as Performance Dashboard, Crashers, Features and provide Pipeline Insights Dashboards and Leads Funnel analysisCollaborate with QE/Dev team, Product and rest of the stake holders on test strategy and planningA good understanding of White Box testing techniques is required to test the new features effectively and ensure high code coverage through automation.Should have good knowledge of test methodologies like black box, white box, integration, performance, acceptance and system testing.What you need to succeedAn ideal candidate should have a good academic background with at least a B.E/B.Tech degree in computer science engineering and 5-7 years of work experience in white box testing role.Should have understanding of common testing methodologies and is able to apply those to current project. Software testing fundamentals including concepts of positive and negative testing.Advanced knowledge of one core operating system and functional in at least one other. Comprehensive understanding of the product functions and the marketplace in which owned component(s) are sold and utilized, and able to apply that knowledge when developing test cases and throughout the testing phase. Individual with testing Mobile and/or, Desktop application is preferred.Should have working knowledge in SQL, MySQL, Presto, Python Should have working knowledge in data warehouse, ETL, Hadoop, Databricks, Snowflake etc. Should have good working knowledge in PowerBI or other visualization BI tool Consistently demonstrates leadership skills, reaching out beyond product area across the team to improve testing methods or procedures, as well as mentoring other QE on the team.This position requires sharp analytical skills, excellent scripting/programming knowledge, leadership skills and finally passion to excel in the field of software testing.Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, especially around data acquisition, transforming data into information, and delivering information effectively The person should have a clear thought process to handle releases in a very short cycles, and be willing to go overboard as and when required.Good written and verbal communication is essential.
