Position Summary:Adobe Learning Manager is redefining the learning experience for the world, we have a challenging opportunity to create multi-tenant highly scalable solutions to serve our millions of users. We are looking for innovative and passionate software engineers with a strong interest in building low latency, high performance SaaS applications. Responsibilities:1. Owning a feature from conception to delivery2. Engage with customers and product management teams (co-located in Bangalore) to understand the need and design an innovative solution.3. Elaborating the feature scope through competition analysis, research on recent technologies and trends to deliver the best-in-class and often next-in-class solutions and iteratively work with customers to finesse the solution.4. Writing use cases, effort estimation and execution planning.5. Coding and stabilization of the feature.6. Handling non-functional requirements like performance, memory leaks, memory errors, not just at the feature level but, analyses its impact at the solution level as well. 7. Participate in the evolution of best practices.8. Display thought leadership through presentations in various aspects of computer science. Requirements:1. 8 years of experience in development using various technologies and frameworks like Java, Spring, JS, AJAX, CSS, HTML5.. 2. Experience on working on a middle to large sized web site.3. Working knowledge of current trends and frameworks of client side web (e.g. Ember/Angular/React).4. Write solid, optimized, code in Java and JS that follows the best practices.5. Experience in writing optimized queries using MySQL/Postgres5. Excellent computer science fundamentals & deep data structures knowledge.6. Excellent problem solving skills.7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.8. Passionate about solving interesting problems for customers – ready to explore new grounds in technology and user experience. 9. Display a readiness to walk “unchartered” territory with a deep sense of curiosity, appetite for risk and perseverance to solve problems. Good to have skills: 1. Knowledge of AWS.2. Knowledge of developing responsive (multi-screen capable) applications.3. Knowledge of application development on iOS and Android.4. Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cassandra/MongoDB
