We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours! Adobe’s Partner Legal Services team (“PLX”) seeks a senior legal professional to drive strategic partnership negotiations, provide leadership and develop a team of experienced attorneys supporting global partnerships and partner programs within Adobe’s Enterprise and Digital Experience Business Unit (“DX”) and certain other business units. This Director level role will work closely with business leaders and customers as well as colleagues within the Legal, Security and Policy organization and across Adobe supporting our revenue objectives. This role will report to the Senior Director for Global Partner Programs and Partnerships and will help advance our clients’ business objectives while balancing business and legal risk.What You’ll DoDirect, develop, and lead a group of legal professionals consistent with Adobe’s core values with particular focus on go-to-market strategy, privacy, and antitrust issues.Draft and negotiate a variety of partner agreements, ranging from non-standard and sophisticated licensing agreements to strategic alliance agreements, outbound technology licenses, OEM agreements, marketplace agreements and subcontracts.Support the DX Legal strategy, particularly as it pertains to partners, with focus on increased efficiencies and scalability.Ensure partner templates are accurate and updated regularly, reflecting compliance with current laws, Adobe policies, processes, and products.Create tools and develop training for legal, partner, sales, and other teams to improve understanding on partner and partner-related legal issues.Improve marketplace processes and efficiencies.Function as a subject matter authority on partner-related issues including privacy and antitrust law issuesWhat You’ll need to succeedLaw degree/JD and at least 10 years of relevant in-house legal experience required.Extensive experience supporting global partner programs and strategic partnerships with deep understanding of antitrust and competition-related issues.Expert at negotiating, drafting and advising team on all types of partnership agreements.Proven record of being a strategic and creative problem solver, having the ability to succinctly frame sophisticated issues and communicated effectively accross the organization, and aiming to drive practical solutions.Commitment to providing clients with high-quality and timely solutions in a fast-paced work environment, with a strong customer focus.Effective communicator in a virtual and hybrid environment.CIPP certifications a plus; relevant privacy experience vitalExceptional communication skills with a sense of humor, intellectual curiosity, and a dedication to excellence and high integrityOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $167,600 -- $343,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base +commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
