The ChallengeThe Adobe Digital Advertising, Learning & Publishing Business Unit (DALP) empowers customers to create, share, and scale solutions around Digital learning, virtual training, technical documentation, printed documents, TV ads, and applications. This role is part of our Digital Learning GTM team within the DALP BU. The solutions consultant is a core member of our pre-sales function. As an Adobe solutions consultant, you will support our Noth America sellers to help position Adobe Learning Manager to prospective clients & gain technical validation. An Adobe solutions consultant is typically the customer’s first impression to Adobe’s cutting-edge technology. As an SC, you will be Adobe Subject matter experts around Adobe Learning Manager platform & our other solutions.. Your typical work will include engaging with clients for understanding their workflow challenges, deliver tailored Product demos, supporting RFP’s, POC’s, training sessions, presenting in webinars, events & tons of other exciting activities. Most importantly, you will make an impact to our topline numbers.What you’ll doPre-SalesDiscovery /Demo Sessions.Understand customer needs through the detailed discovery of their current business processes to identify value and challenges that can be addressed with Adobe’s Digital Learning solutions.Should be able to understand customer’s business priorities to further articulate & present a solution that will address the customer needs.Partners with our North America Sales team around customer discovery/demo calls & also assists the customer in technical evaluation of the Adobe solutions. Occasionally may support our EU teams.Acts as the single point of contact or SME for all customer presentations or demos pertaining to Adobe Learning Manager & our other digital learning solutions.Primarily responsible to demonstrate the software by providing application examples of its use and exhibiting its ease of useThe product consultant may also be required to work on creating Sales presentations, customer facing collaterals, cheat sheets etc., sample projects (POC’s).Uses in-depth product & business knowledge to provide technical expertise to customers through sales presentationsDevelop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) & RFP responses as part of an account team to demonstrate the art of the possibleBe responsible for the 'technical win' by providing functionally compelling and relevant demonstrationsProvide customer feedback to the product management and engineering teams to capture new customer requirements and enhancementsPeriodically engages in Sales enablement & new product release training for the sales team.What you need to succeedCreative Mindset – Think through creative ways of addressing customer problems leveraging on right solutions.Collaborative Mindset - Able to collaborate with our sales AE's & takes collective ownership of winning business.Learner Mindset – An individual who has an appetite to constantly learn about the technology trends in his/her domain & share their knowledge.Consistency – Consistency in thoughts & actionGrowth Mindset – Willing to grow with the business.Additional RequirementsShould possess exceptional verbal, written communication & presentation skillsCandidate from a Presales, consulting or software development background.Enjoys presenting to customers remotely leveraging any of the web hosting platforms.Working knowledge of technology such as HTML, .net, JAVA & familiar with elearning standards such as SCORM.Candidates with prior background or experience of working on any LMS/LXP platform solutions.Candidates with a degree in a computer Science or related technical discipline with a minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.Candidates with flair for learning new technology & further demonstrating it to the customersDemonstrate excellent communication and troubleshooting skills along with a proactive, sales-oriented approach.Having prior experience in Technology Sales or Pre-Sales will be an advantage although not a pre-requisite.Prior exposure to any of Adobe Digital learning solutions.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $105,500 -- $170,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
