We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours.OpportunityPrint Technology group is looking for Director Engineering at Adobe Noida campus, who will be responsible for leading multiple engineering teams, handling development of a diverse portfolio of products, galvanizing the teams, encourage them to innovate, build and deliver best in class products to our global customers.Role SummaryThis position offers unique opportunity to build solutions using platforms and technologies as diverse as embedded systems, major desktop and server operating systems, AI & ML (Adobe Sensei), as well as cloud technologies. In this role you will closely partner, define product roadmaps your team and product managers. You will handle interaction with customers (directly as well as through customer success team) all over the globe, understand their needs and exceed their expectations through innovation and selection of right technology.What you’ll doAs Director of Engineering for Print Technology group, you will spearhead multiple teams and deliver extraordinary products, with the help of multi-tiered managers reporting to youUnderstand business goals through working closely with higher management, product management and OEM account management teamsInteract regularly with customers, establish relationships at the right levelDrive strategy, architecture and development goals for various products using customer requirements and business goalsEnsure all products and solutions are delivered within the committed scheduleChallenge the teams to innovate and deliver better products and solutionsPartner with Product Managers to define and refine the product roadmapsReview, approve and supervise project plans and schedules of productsEnsure right staffing of each development teamAct as a catalyst to foster innovation within the teamEvangelize your products both internally and externallyEnsure adherence to Adobe policies and processes for product development as well as people managementEncourage interaction across teams, ensure reuse of technologies across products, wherever possibleParticipate in hiring top talents, for Print Technology group as well as for broader Adobe needsWhat you need to succeedMore than 18 years’ experience working in Software development industry including at least 8 years as people managerAdept at handling multiple teams -and must have shown ability of 4 years as a second level managerProven track record to drive innovation, deep and hands-on understanding of C, C++ & Embedded technologiesSelf-starter, passion to delight customers, willingness to walk above and beyondRelationships building with customers and internal team membersB.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a premiere instituteGet to know the teamAdobe is the pioneer and leading provider of print technologies to world’s leading printer companies like Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, HP, Fuji Xerox, Heidelberg, Sharp, etc. All key aspects of this high margin multimillion-dollar global business is handled by Print Technology group within PPBU entirely out of India, including its P&L, Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering & Customer Success.
