Adobe’s technology partner ecosystem continues to be highly strategic and significant in growing Adobe’s enterprise Digital Experience business, and this role represents an outstanding opportunity to shape the direction of these global partnerships. This is an exciting and highly visible opportunity to cut horizontally across the entire Adobe organization making a true impact on the business.The Challenge:The Director of Tech Partners Strategy and Programs helps set the strategy for working with managed cloud providers and ISVs, leads an impactful team of business program managers, and incubates new programs to grow the scope and scale of Adobe’s Tech Partners ecosystem. This leadership role is an outstanding opportunity for candidates with experience working in partnerships, business development, or corporate strategy, and who has experience setting strategy as well as incubating and operationalizing new partner programs. The Director will work in close alignment with partner teams, executives, sales and product leaders across Adobe, Microsoft, AWS, and other leading ISVs engaged in the experience management space.Purpose of Role:Own and lead the growth agenda for the cloud platform and ISV partners at Adobe; ensuring that new opportunities are fully evaluated, as well as seeking out unlocks and new routes to marketCoach, empower, and guide an outstanding team of business program managers and alliance professionals to drive business impactHelp to define the priority, success criteria, and key programs that will drive the success of Adobe’s Tech Partner businessServe as trusted advisor and valued partner to Adobe and Microsoft team members as well as executive leadership in both companies, relating to this strategic partnershipUnderstand and supervise all executive-sponsored initiatives, activities, and work streams related to Adobe’s partnership with MicrosoftResponsibilities:Develop a case framework to evaluate new opportunities from both internal Adobe sources, and from Partners, and be responsible for the launch of the most promising new business areasCollaborate closely with, and provide leadership direction to, internal solution development teams to set and secure the co-innovation priorities, projects, and joint partner engagementsPlan, establish and implement forums for conceptualization to develop new and improve existing pivotal initiatives with Microsoft & AWS.Own and drive a semi-annual business planning and target-setting process with Microsoft and ensure alignment across Tech Partners Sales and Microsoft Global Partner Solutions (and PDM) teamsEnsure the achievement of joint sales and consumption targets across cloud provider partners by working across multiple teams: sales, partner sales, partner marketing, and operationsBe responsible for the executive level communications strategy and success metrics dashboarding programs across several partnerships globallyProactively identify key gaps or dependencies to our partnership success plan and consistently handle and find solutions to those challengesAct as a critical partnership point of contact for other Adobe and Tech Partners teams to scale the relationship across the globeRequirements:10+ years operational experience incubating, developing and scaling new and emerging businesses10+ years of demonstrated people/team management, including recruiting, onboarding, and effective performance management5+ years of partner management, business development, corporate strategy, or management consulting in the technology industry preferredLeadership and experience working across teams to drive defined business strategy, and sales goalsDemonstrated executive level (VP level and above) oral and written communication skillsExceptional decision-making, conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation skillsStrong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers and emerging trends as well as the impact of these on the SaaS marketing technology landscapeAbility to work in a sophisticated, cross-organizational boundary and cross-discipline mannerAbility to work successfully in ambiguous work environmentsAbility to develop positive relationships and inspire changeAbility to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced environmentConsistent record developing and scaling partnerships preferredMotivated high-performance individualStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $155,100 -- $291,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
