The Opportunity Adobe Design, our nearly 500-person global experience design group, is looking for a Senior Experience Designer to join the D-ALP (Digital Advertising, Learning and Publishing) team. We work on market leading products in the spaces of digital learning, highly interactive webinars, sophisticated multi-format documentation and more.Be part of an active global design community working on some of the most interesting ideas on the planet. Work with some of the best design talent in this part of the globe, come help us build the next generation of tools that will redefine the way people meet, learn and work.What you'll Do Create user experience goals, priorities, and design artefacts that align with the product vision. Coordinate multiple projects to completion, and drive adoption of user experience practices.Proactively engage and strongly influence decisions with multiple project stakeholders including business, product managers, engineers, and other designers, in drafting & brainstorming initial concepts.Convey design ideas and end-to-end user experience via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations.Create designs that drive business impact, meet product objectives, fit within Adobe Design guidelines, and respond to user feedback and usability testing findings.Plan and conduct primary and/or secondary research, as well as quick rounds of usability tests.Be an evangelist for design as a function. Help drive and develop culture, practices and processes.What you need to succeed 10+ years of industry experience in experience design with a proven track record of leading and delivering great design and strategy that meets user needs, product requirements & business objectives.Preferably a strong formal education background in HCI or design related field, with an emphasis on human centered design, user experience or interaction design.Ability to grasp the essence of complex design problems and translate them to practical design solutions.Ability to lead other designers with clarity and focus, and catalyse growth in the team.Ability to proficiently facilitate brainstorming sessions, cultivate the creative thinking process, create compelling presentation decks or videos, and present articulate concept pitches.Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process, and effectively produce highly polished and professional work under agreed timelines.Proficiency in fundamental visual & interaction design principles.Strong understanding of Adobe Xd and/or other prototyping tools. Grasp of Photoshop, Illustrator, etc could help too.Ability to comfortably work in hybrid release cycles, which may include waterfall and loosely defined agile and lean design.Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem space.Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate goals, problems, opportunities and solutions.We also deeply value efforts towards building strong relationships, culture and community at the workplace.
