For example, our globally adopted UID2 initiative promotes fair (content-for-data) value exchange while giving consumers complete control of their private data.We are looking for a Principal UX Product Manager to join the Goals & Experiences team that oversees programmatic ad buying, machine learning user experiences, and End-to-End UX across the Trade Desk’s platform. You will team up with designers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to create user-centered and data-driven products that make marketers better at their jobs every day. You will build natural experiences that set marketers up for success and support them in achieving advertising goals. You will evolve and maintain our design system so that experiences are learnable, consistent, and efficient across our platform.We want our product managers to have a massive impact on the advertising ecosystem and make advertising better for everyone involved – consumers, publishers, and advertisers. If you’re interested in moving our vision of powering the free and open internet forward, we’d love to hear from you!WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs a Principal UX Product Manager:· You will deeply understand how to make our customers’ professional lives better through software. You will use research, data, feedback, and good judgement to balance the needs of our diverse client base· You will lead projects from inception, to delivery, to iteration. You will gather customer requirements, design prototypes, and business imperatives to define and prioritize releases that represent our customer’s needs· You will define the next generation of programmatic advertising tools. You will lead broad multidisciplinary initiatives that help advertisers bridge the gap between how they execute advertising today and their opportunities to unlock performance and scale in the future· You will build products in collaboration with your team and stakeholders. You will facilitate discussion, deliberation, and decision making so the right product is delivered at the right time. You will create blueprints that every member of your team can follow to build the future – be it a PRD, prototype, a report, or customer storyWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE· 8+ years of product experience in a senior role. Previous experience in B2B or B2B2C is required. AdTech / MarTech experience is a plus.· A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects in partnership with UX. Examples of work you delivered are required.· A people-first approach to your work. You are comfortable ramping up on new technologies and can have meaningful discussions about implementation trade-offs with engineers.#LI-SV2Our Compensation and Benefits (for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.  The base salary range for this role is $155,500 -$285,100In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.  The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.  All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
