Aligning and collaborating with the broader marketing team, the Product Marketing Senior Director co-develops and drives strategy and executes the go-to-market plans for all products and the platform. This role develops strategy, along with their direct reports, for product positioning in-market, life-cycle customer management, and competitive analysis across the portfolio. This role is a global role, driving localization and customization as necessary.What you'll do:Partner with the Vice President of Product Marketing and the overall product marketing team to execute on a vision and strategy for the global team to drive business objectives.Proven ability to coach, lead, manage, and inspire a high-performing results-oriented team.Drive and develop operational rigor and a standardized process for repeatable go-to market plans.Inspire creativity in the team to engage with them on developing new and existing target audiences/personas in new, unique ways.Ability to support a global team throughout the go-to-market process. Manage and build insight-driven product marketing strategies to drive business impact.Align and partner with Product Management, Client Services and Sales to identify customer needs, key product enhancements, and launch new products.Proven ability to build global go-to-market strategies and plans, then execute with a growing multi-functional marketing organization.Ability to simplify complex subject matter into clear simple messaging and jargon-free marketing and positioning.Embrace an analytical mindset to leverage insights and data to drive impact and revenue results.Understand broader market trends, our customers, and the business landscape of Ad Tech.Manage the process of gaining customer feedback to obtain competitive and market insights to impact the customer needs and inform key product enhancements and innovations in new products.Experience developing messaging and positioning for B2C and B2B enterprise solutions.Who you are:10-15 years global product marketing experience.Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, manage and coach a diverse and global team of 5 or more.Deep understanding of the B2B advertising/marketing technology space or product marketing experience for a mid-size to large B2C technology organization.Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of global marketing strategies and understands the life cycle of customer management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to translate complex concepts into competitive, compelling marketing messages.Effective communicator with the motivation to drive communication processes and cross functional workstreams effectively across global teams.Experience with: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Asana, Slack, Highspot, Salesforce and agile development environments.#LI-CQ1Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $171,000 -$313,600In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
