The Trade Desk supports a suite of home grown and third-party Contextual solutions – all of which must continue to evolve with the changing landscape. This role will collaborate with the Product organization to build a strategy and execution plan to offer best-in-class Contextual offerings & experiences that maximize growth and opportunity for both the Trade Desk and its third-party providers of Contextual Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding for how Contextual solutions work, a sense for the role Contextual can play as the landscape evolves, can peer through both a product lens and partnerships lens, and enjoys an entrepreneurial and rapidly shifting environment. What you'll do: Become an expert on The Trade Desk’s owned and third-party Contextual offering, how it’s used by advertisers and the user experience within the platform Collaborate with the Partner Manager who owns the third-party Contextual relationships to understand opportunities for growth Collaborate with Product to recommend an evolution and prioritization plan that establishes Contextual as a first-class targeting solution across all channels of media Maintain regular communications and checkpoints with management and with partners to report on status and future opportunities Perform industry and trend research and analysis Draft and deliver internal and external messaging detailing strategic vision and roadmaps; equip sellers, Partner Managers and traders to speak to the vision Build, price, position, and launch TTD offerings while maintaining a vibrant third-party marketplace of solutions Collaborate with Product Marketing to drive demand for Contextual solutions Who you are: 8+ years of experience growing revenue with partners and/or driving and executing differentiated product strategies Experience with Contextual solutions including Brand Safety, Viewability, Fraud/Quality, and Language Experience with contracts and vendor negotiations Excellent judgement & acute sense of self-awareness Self-motivated problem-solver comfortable wearing different hats Proven communication, questioning, and listening skills in formal and informal settings Comfort with fast-paced, dynamic working environment with shifting priorities Ability to build excellent rapport with internal (Legal, Finance, Product) and external stakeholders; strong collaboration is a must Must be comfortable with complexity and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrated use of critical thinking techniques #LI-ES1Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $141,300 -$259,100In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
