We value the unique experiences and perspectives that each person brings to The Trade Desk, and we are committed to fostering inclusive spaces where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work every day.So, if you are talented, driven, creative, and eager to join a dynamic, globally-connected team, then we want to talk!What you’ll do:Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the VP, L&D is responsible for leading the design and development of high impact learning and development programs for the company as well as establishing leading organization development practices/models and strategies to help the company achieve its growth goalsAct as a dynamic leader to cultivate a supporting and engaging team culture as well as provide scalable and culturally relevant learning and development approaches that align to our core valuesResponsible for career planning and development programs, leadership development, and enterprise L&D priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.Ensure that programs created align with the organization's strategic prioritiesMaintain strong relationships with BD, Client Services, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources to ensure alignment of organizational activities and directionsDevelop, maintain, and deliver world-class learning portfolio (competency modules, trainings for manager cohorts, performance management programs, leadership development, etc)Make sure all aspects of development and delivery are connected, high-impact and meet the needs of a diverse range of usersIdentify different types of trainings or certification offerings globallyLead and scale the team to drive the best learning strategy, as well as to build out methodologies and toolsWho you are:15+ years of experience designing and leading L&D programs at scale, preferably in high-growth corporate environmentsIn-depth understanding of best practices in learning strategy development and executionProven experience with curriculum development and delivery methodologies and best practicesExperience working a high-tech environment with capability to build a business case, resource plan, and budgetDemonstrate alignment to our company's values, along with the capability to lead and motivate a teamDemonstrate commitment to growing and developing teams globallyExcellent communications and senior leader engagement experienceProven ability to use a consultative approach and persuasive communication with stakeholdersAbility to understand macro market in which company operates, and distill insight into operational L&D tactics.Ability to prioritize initiatives based on the evolving L&D needs of the company, making consistently strategic recommendations to company leadershipAbility to work within a fast-paced, high-growth work environmentAbility to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing effectively with issues that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place#LI-BM1Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.  The base salary range for this role is $162,600 -$298,100In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.  The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.  All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions.  Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
