This leader will be responsible for growing and scaling our Sales and Client Services Commercial Operations globally, managing a team of international leaders, and will hold responsibility for managing the executive stakeholders that oversee both Sales and Client Service teams that span across North America, Europe, and Asia, respectfully. This leader will be accountable for the functioning and continued development of operational commercial processes and for integrating those functions into a broader global structure. Considered an integral part of the leadership team, this GM will utilize his/her influence to drive results and deliver outcomes, frequently abstracting from global insights and planning to deliver and collect best practices across various countries and regions. Keeping the pulse on organizational capabilities, this GM will deliver direction, vision, and leadership, as well as be responsible for growing and developing a global team for the growing needs of our world-class advertising technology company.  WHO YOU ARE:You are a seasoned sales operations leader with deep business acumen who understands operations to be part science and part art. In addition to this, you’re the type of person who can remain cool, calm, and collected in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.You possess strong analytical acumen, and you understand and recognize patterns – putting this super-power to use to recognize trends and drive best practices, access opportunities, and deliver high-impact strategic benefitWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:15+ years of work experience in a functional ownership role or an operational capacity at the intersection of media and technologyA consummate, empathetic, and experienced leader of people – with the experience managing direct reports and their teams through high growth, change and have the desire to lead and contribute to a fast-paced, hands-on, visionary cultureYou bring a demonstrated track record of owning outcomes during a measurable business transitionExperience influencing individuals at the executive level and driving strategic business transformationsStrong technical and operational aptitudeGlobal experience and ability to travel internationally, typically once a quarter or as needed#LI-LR1Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.  The base salary range for this role is $188,100 -$344,900In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.  The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.  All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions.  Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
