We are at the forefront of customer-based solutions and customer enablement for all North America.This is a Hybrid-Remote position, so must be able to work from one of our offices in the U.S. part of the week.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:We are looking for an experienced Systems Support/DevOps Engineer to join our Solutions Architecture team.· You have solid background as a software developer or system support engineer with an interest in improving system operation and support through logging, monitoring, and tracing· You appreciate system observability and enjoy working with the latest monitoring and metrics platforms such as Elastic Search, New Relic, Prometheus and Grafana.· You are experienced in deploying and operating multiple systems and their infrastructure in AWS. You understand and can implement continuous integration and continuous deployment practices across a range of applications.· You are a problem solver. You have the passion and ability to help client to resolve any support issue they have.· Ability to solve problems by analyzing existing systems and processes and devising plans for improvements· Experience with automating code bases to CI/CD standardization· Passion for learning and experimenting with innovative approaches to solving large scale systemic problems· Experience with scaling systems across different regions· Ability to work in a cross-functional team which touches many parts of core systemsWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:You will design and implement tools and framework to improve operation and support of cloud native custom solutions we build for our clients across our spectrum of Enterprise services.· You will implement monitoring tools and dashboards to evaluate health, usage and availability of custom solutions running in the cloud.· You will collaborate with other Solutions Architects and engineering teams to improve the reliability, scalability and operability of the custom solutions being developed through devops best practices.· You will automate solution code and infrastructure deployment: you will relentlessly strive to eliminate manual toil.· You will maintain cloud stacks utilised in running our custom solutions, troubleshoot infrastructure related issues causing solution outage or degradation, and implementing necessary fixes.· You will identify, analyse, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.· You will collaborate with our Security Operations team to implement company preferred security and compliance policies across the cloud infrastructure running our custom solutions.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:· Must have 7+ years of coding experience building system integration software or APIs using Python or Java· Must have 4+ years of experience supporting multiple mission critical cloud-native serverless and big-data applications built with AWS services including Lambda functions, EMR, S3, SQS, SNS and IAM using AWS native tools like CloudWatch, OpsWorks or 3rd party applications like ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana and New Relic- 2+ years of experience in building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Bamboo, Git, AWS (CodeCommit, Code Build and Code Deploy) and automating system infrastructure deployment to AWS using infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation, Terraform and Terragrunt· Experience in AWS service management and infrastructure governance· Knowledge of SQL, API or REST is a plus· Knowledge in configuring and debugging AWS EMR applications a plus· Knowledge of multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plusOur Compensation and Benefits (for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $121,500 -$222,800In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
