Pay Rate:$15.54 - $20.56Inventory Control Technician Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)Department: Inventory ControlLocation: Rochester/Clifton Park/Vista and SpokanePosition Summary                                                                                                                     Responsibilities include but are not limited to daily cycle counts of product, ensuring accuracy of inventory records, and investigating warehouse discrepancies. The selected candidate should have the ability to work both in a team orientated environment as well as independently. This role will require strong attention to detail and meticulous accuracy.  The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of flexibility, the ability to competently respond to direction and meet scheduling demands, and the ability to satisfy physical demands of the position.  Applicants for this position must be extremely safety conscious. Prior inventory experience is preferred.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness and organization of inventory locationsUtilize computerized inventory systemsFrequent lifting, bending and pullingOperation of material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacksClear and professional communication with Inventory Control Lead and ManagerOccasional operation of hand toolsAssist where needed as directed by the Inventory leadership teamAbility to perform basic math calculations such as add, subtract, multiply, divide and compute rate and ratioActive participant in yearly physical inventory support, including preparation, execution and wrap upPerform other related duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational education/training is preferredDriven and self-motivated individualWork experience in inventory control is strongly preferredHigh degree of organizational skillsAbility to work overtime as assigned and commit to a flexible work schedule around manufacturing demandAbility to operate a computer and perform computer transactions accuratelyQuality focused and detail-orientedTeam player with a positive communication styleAbility to stand for long periods of time in performance of job functionsMust be able to lift up-to 50 lbs. unassistedKnowledge of Microsoft Office and prior ERP experience preferredProven ability to collaborate effectively within a team atmosphereStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailRole model for high standards of professionalismResults-oriented and driven work styleKnowledge of warehouse operationsFlexibility and ability to travel between sites as requiredWe offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
