Systems EngineerStatus: Exempt (Salaried)                                                     Department: Systems EngineeringPosition Summary:Plug Power is the industry leader providing hydrogen-powered fuel cell systems for material handling equipment, backup power systems and on-road vehicles. The Systems Engineer is responsible for system level design of fuel cell systems.  Systems team is responsible for the architecture and software controls of fuel cell systems for E mobility, stationary and industrial truck market. Ideal candidate should exhibit exceptional communication and project management skills along with a strong background in engineering.  This individual must be self-motivated, able to handle multiple project assignments and is willing to learn and adapt within a fast-paced engineering organizationCore Duties and Responsibilities:Develop system architecture, system requirements, subsystem requirements and control of next generation fuel cell systemsCreate system and subsystem specification/controls and documentation to meet customer requirements  Design and improve control algorithms and state machines to maximize fuel cell efficiency and performanceDevelop architectures for fuel cell systems to the applicable codes and standards.Participate in FMEA and Hazard analysis of fuel cell and related systemsDevelop and execute system level testing and data analysisDevelop and execute validation plans for fuel cells for end user applicationsWork professionally and cooperatively in a cross-functional team environment with a focus upon maximizing system performance and customer satisfactionRepresent Plug Power in a professional manner in all interactions; support the philosophy of the organization to provide high-performing technology to maximize customer satisfactionPay Rate:$62,700.00 - $94,050.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓ Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
