You will join the Hydrogen Operations Europe team, and will initiate the Hydrogen Transport and Distribution team. You will be in charge of setting up and growing our gaseous transport operations.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with the Europe Operations Director and Logistics Project Manager, your mission will be to:Organize the implementation of first gaseous (then liquid) hydrogen delivery rounds relying on transport partners (planification, operating & emergency procedures, requirements, etc.) Define the terms of transport and delivery requirements on customer sites in good operating conditions (delivery protocols, training of drivers on customer specificities, etc.) and safety (specific measures for the transport of hazardous materials, prevention plan, etc.), Manage daily hydrogen delivery activity of our first customer sites (EU/UK), either distributed directly by Plug or by third-party partners.Continue to prospect and reference transport partners & determine the types of transport services (tenders, negotiation) throughout Europe in order to supply our customers, Ensure the link with the various stakeholders (carriers, internal and third-party hydrogen suppliers, customer sites, etc.), Propose and apply activity indicators and service performance measurement tools, Contribute to the reflection and the deployment, if necessary, of the relevant information systems related to the transport of hydrogen,Provide monitoring of customs legislation and conditions, guarantee compliance with transport legislation, Manage/report costs in line with the budget, and make the link with Operations Department: regular reporting, management of malfunctions, negotiation of the global transport strategy...Education and Experience You have intrapreneurship mindset and want to really contribute to building an organization in a fast-growing group,You have a bachelor or degree in Transport / Supply Chain, a Masters in Logistics Project Management, or an engineering or business school diploma with a logistics / transport specialization.Ideally you haveADR 1.3 certification/ Administrative management of the transport of hazardous materials,Capacité Professionnelle de Commissionnaire de TransportYou have significant experience in the transport sector (ideally hazardous materials/ADR) and/or logistics.
