This also necessarily involves gaseous & cryogenic transport of hydrogen… and a lot of things still to be built!Want to take up challenges and be part of the energy revolution that is underway… then come and join Plug's European adventure and talented, dynamic and passionate team!Position SummaryTo support our logistics development, we are looking for a Gaseous and Cryo logistics Fleet Engineer.You will join the Hydrogen Operations Europe team, and you will be responsible to lead Plug Power’s logistics fleets regarding two main topics:Gaseous Hydrogen fleet: continue the constitution of the Gaseous hydrogen containers (MEGC) park and monitor their operational life,Liquid Hydrogen fleet: work on mid-term creation of a fleet of road tankers and ISO containers (definition of needs, specifications, consultations, etc.)Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with the Europe Hydrogen Operations Director and Logistics Project Manager, your mission Gaseous and Cryo logistics Fleet Engineer will be to:> Regarding Gaseous Hydrogen fleet The fleet (MEGC, high pressure type 2 and 4 containers) is under construction, growing. Some equipment is already in operation.Ensure link with our container providers and follow the construction of new containers (within delivery timing, budget, & right quality, FAT, commissioning), Be the technical referent of the already operating containers for the Transport team, Improve or create detailed procedures for good operational and safety conditions of use, Set and manage a fleet management system: tracking of equipment, conditions of use, loading/unloading cycles, periodic recertifications, life cycles, etc. Follow-up of curative/preventive maintenance (periodic maintenance and recertification) Implement and manage of remote monitoring tools (pressure & temperature sensors, GPS device), and data management in relation with Transport team, Define requirements (specifications and design) of new containers (MEGC) to order. Be curious of technological innovations and manage continuous improvement, Continue to prospect and reference containers providers (commercial offers and technical specificities). Prepare tenders & technical discussions. Ensure a watch on regulatory context in order to stay compliant with transport legislation,> Regarding Liquid Hydrogen fleet As Plug will produce Liquid Hydrogen in its future plants, we prepare required equipment (road tankers and ISO containers containers) according to transport needs and European regulationsDefine the required specifications (possible transit time, payload, capacity, safety, operability, maintainability, cost, construction time, …), Identify, meet and build partnerships with specialized industrials and set development conditions to meet our needs, As for gaseous Hydrogen fleet, start creating the Liquid Hydrogen fleet,You will become the in-house gaseous and cryogenic transport means expert.
