Sales Engineer, Plug CryoStatus: Exempt (Salaried)Department: Inside Sales, Plug CryoLocation: Houston, TXPosition Summary:The Sales Engineer, Plug Cryo will work directly with customers for applications involving cryogenic liquid transportation and storage tanks, vaporization, heating and cooling, pumping, automation, and other process equipment needs for stationary and mobile equipment for liquid Hydrogen, LNG, and other liquid gases and compressed gases. This position will primarily work within sales and support applications engineering and service to facilitate new sales and project execution, as well as develop new products, while working to improve departmental efficiency, market share, and customer support.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Engage customers and generate proposals based on equipment needsSizing and selecting equipment for transportation, storage, pumping, & vaporizationAssist in creating competitive solutions for the energy transition industryAssist development of new product lines and finding new market opportunitiesCollaborate with applications engineering and automation/controls teamsSupport commercial efforts - Contract negotiations, review, and executionContinually increase and improve market traction while ensuring profitabilityDocumentation including technical reports, analysis, procedures, proposals, specifications, data sheets, test plans, training material, calculations, & manualsCustomer support for commercial, technical, quality, safety, and training aspects. Provide QC support and requirements for projects and equipment as needed to fulfill customer requirements and industry codes and standardsProduce calculations and drawings to facilitate sales and equipment solutionsAssist commissioning and testing of products and documenting resultsEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similarCryogenic industry experience preferredProficiency with sizing, process design, thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanicsDynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels.Uncompromising dedication to quality.Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.Ability to role model high standards of professionalism.Excellent follow-through.Must be driven and self-motivated.Pay Rate:$62,700.00 - $94,050.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
