Financial Analyst, Inventory and Supply ChainPosition SummaryThe Financial Analyst, Inventory and Supply Chain, is an integral position in the financial operations team that supports the Supply Chain organization. The responsibility of this position is to assist Inventory and Supply Chain Operations Finance team with managing the day-to-day activities of the Inventory Control, Supply Chain, Planning, and Logistics organizations. The Financial Analyst, Inventory and Supply Chain, must also be available to help develop custom reporting and provide fact-based guidance upon request for various business purposes. This role requires some degree of technical accounting knowledge, data-driven analytical support, and communications within the Finance and broader Supply Chain organizations.Core Duties And ResponsibilitiesActive participant in Accounting month-end close, focused on inventory and transportationCollaborate with supply chain team to manage all aspects of offsite inventory - timely review and reporting, month-end journal entries, and account reconciliationsPartner with Senior Financial Analyst to review transportation expenses for key business unitsSupport transportation team with management and reporting of transportation expenses for key business unitsAssist Operations Controller with supply and demand planning activitiesPerform frequent review of and manage month-end activities for in transit inventoryKey contributor to yearly physical inventoryDevelop and grow strong cross-functional relationships to ensure the achievement of department and business objectives through collaboration and communicationProvide relevant, accurate, and timely financial information to management for decision makingPrepare ad hoc reports and analysis as defined by the Operations Leadership Team for business needsAssist with ad hoc analysis during the monthly and quarterly close process as well as year-end external auditRepresent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactionsPerform all other duties as assignedRequired Education, Skills, And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum one (1) or more years of Accounting or Finance related work experienceExperience in a manufacturing environment a plusKnowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel requiredKnowledge or experience with SAP a plusDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsAbility to manage complex projects and multi-task effectivelyAbility to prioritize and work independentlyAbility to role model high standards of professionalismExcellent follow-throughWillingness to learnMust be driven and self-motivatedMust possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work qualityPay Rate:$52,250.00 - $78,375.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
