Financial AnalystStatus: Exempt (Salaried) Department: Finance/AccountingPosition SummaryThe Financial Analyst role is an integral position in the financial operations team. This role is critical to help drive analytics and decision making within the business based upon the measurement of financial data. This position is tasked to assist the manufacturing finance group building out and providing ongoing financial metrics and data points so that business strategies can be refined and improved. The Financial Analyst must also be available to help analytical support and provide fact-based guidance upon request for various operational business purposes. Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport cost reporting processes for the communication of monthly/quarterly actual results Analyze sales order, purchase order, and work order ERP configurations to ensure accurate and timely reportingReview and maintain accurate BOM structure costings Assist with variance analysis for material costsProvide transactional support to controllersAssist with budgeting and Forecasting costs. Work with Operations teams to accurately forecast financial data. Ensure accurate standard costsProvide journal entry support and assist with documentation of processesHelp drive process improvements for the monthly close process by improving workbook functionalityLeverage Business Intelligence tools to reduce manual work and automate financial reportingPrepare ad hoc reports and analysis as defined Develop and grow strong cross-functional relationships to ensure the achievement of department and business objectives through collaboration and communicationProvide relevant, accurate, and timely financial information to management for decision makingRepresent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactionsPerform all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting/FinanceTwo (2) or more years of related work experience including experience within manufacturing operations desired but not requiredFinancial systems ERP experience desired but not requiredCost Accounting experience desired but not requiredDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailSuperior communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office softwareAbility to manage complex projects and multi-task effectivelyAbility to role model high standards of professionalismExcellent follow-through Must be driven and self-motivatedMust possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work qualityPay Rate:$52,250.00 - $78,375.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
