Senior SAP DeveloperSummary:The Senior SAP Developer is a key role on the IT team who will be working on SAP S/4HANA as part of Plug’s ERP modernization project.  As a Senior SAP Developer, you will be a lead in analysis, design, development, debug, code review, testing, documentation, implementation, and support of existing and new functionality in the ERP environment.  This includes improving the platform for the users and working on innovative applications.  In this position, you will work with both the IT team and our business teams.  This role must effectively interact with functional and technical teams to understand and create enterprise solutions.  We are seeking someone who is interested in the opportunity to be directly part of our ERP modernization to the SAP S/4HANA platform.  As such, technical knowledge, adaptability, willingness to learn, responsiveness, and interpersonal skills are each critical elements of success in this position.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Act as a Technical Architect to evaluate all business requirements, come up with solutions that provide the best approach for the enterprise, and have oversight of applications to ensure uniformity/properly perform/enterprise qualityAs the Senior Developer, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting various new and existing SAP application development efforts in parallelEvaluate functional requirements to ensure the accuracy and utility of program functionality by collaborating with users and other IT staffWrite clean, concise, robust, and well-documented codeEnsure functional requirements are included and appropriately testedContribute to maturing development processes and assisting teammatesImplement code changes to meet defined requirementsPerform technical unit testing, and assist with the development of functional/technical design documentsHelp troubleshoot and resolve any issues discovered through System Test or QA/UAT efforts and support knowledge transfer effortsSupport end user initial production support, correct defects revealed by production operationsAssist with interface requirements, and design solutions with functional resources and/or system owners and usersMaintaining awareness of industry best practices and standardsCollaborate with the team on larger features as well as work independently on smaller onesUnderstand technical frameworks and landscape to provide explanations of various alternativesRepresent Plug in a professional manner at all times and in all interactionsPerform all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferredAt least 5+ years of total development experience in ERP PlatformsAt least 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP with S/4 HANA including all kinds of RICEF objects2 full cycle SAP project implementationsExperience and exposure in trouble shooting backend ABAP code of FIORI AppsExperience writing technical specifications, testing scenarios, strong experience in unit testingMust be a strong team lead with ability to accomplish individual technical deliverables independently and also coach/mentor/oversee the technical junior resources to achieve deliverables with quality and within project timelinesMust be experienced in working with Functional team to obtain and understand functional requirements and convert these to technical specificationsMust have development experience for SAP modules: FI, SD, MM, IM,PP, eWM, PS, PM, FSM,Experience with S/4 HANA Studio, OData Service, ADOBE FormsExperience with SAP interface development including EDI/IDoc, proxy, WSDL Experience with SAP S/4 APIs, CDS views, Query Browser, Key User ExtensibilityExperience with SAP CPI/BTP for integration and interfacing with 3rd party applicationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills / detail-orientedExcellent at identifying and solving problemsCapable of researching complex problems and finding solutionMust be driven and self-motivatedSuperior communication skillsPay Rate:$86,815.00 - $138,904.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
