Project Controls Specialist, Energy SolutionsDepartment: PMO (Project Controls)Reports to: Project Controls ManagerStatus: Exempt (salaried)Location: Houston (Joule office)                       Position SummaryThis position is responsible for inhouse support for the Energy Solutions Project Team.  This is a multi-faceted role that includes assisting in the day-to-day administrative tasks for the Energy Solutions team. This role requires excellent internal and external communications skills as well as organizational skill. This position is also critical to interface with vendors and customer stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be creative, self-motivated, able to handle multiple project assignments and willing to learn and adapt within a fast-paced growing organization.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesUpdate project trackers, calculate POC of the projects based on rules of credit and guidance from production team (master S-curve). Interface with discipline personnel for rules of credit / earned valueCoordinate with vendors to gather updates (Schedule, Change orders, Scope changes, Risks to delivery). Identify potential threats to Master S-curve and communicate to managementWork with finance to communicate the vendor invoicing status and POC dataOperate project management system Procore and input data as appropriate to maintain project documentation.Generate Project reports on Bi-weekly basis – coordinate with all department leadsMaintain reporting standards, develop new reportsAssist with establishing cost and schedule processes, practices & tools to effectively execute projects.Assist with developing cost estimates.Assist with generating project schedules, budgets, and resourcing.Assist with analyzing and reporting project costs.Assist with various department projects and initiatives as neededTake detailed notes of meetings and communicate action items to the teamRun reports and create dashboards for management.Escalate all non-routine project inquiries appropriately to solve operational issues.Represent Plug Power in a professional manner in all interactions; support the philosophy of the organization to provide high-performing technology to maximize customer satisfactionOther duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceAssociates degree preferred; high school diploma required.Superior communication skillsWillingness to learn new skills and softwareProficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookExperience with data visualization is preferred (power BI)Knowledge of SQL and data query is preferredTeamwork oriented and focusedAbility to manage complex projects and multi-task effectivelyExcellent follow-through Must be driven and self-motivatedMust possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work qualitySuperior organizational skills and attention to detailRole model for high standards of professionalismResults-oriented and driven work styleExcellent task-oriented follow-throughPay Rate:$52,250.00 - $78,375.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
