As a Scrum Master, you will protect the group, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keep them focused on the task at hand. In this position, you will help the Product Owner maximize productivity, maintain the backlog, aid in the release plans, and publish reports to ensure the product owner is updated about the team’s progress.This isn’t a role where you are expected to be a Product Owner; instead, you work together with the product owner to help maintain a highly effective Finance IT and Integration IT Teams. You will need to jump in quickly and make strategic, actionable, and measurable recommendations. In this role, you will need to bring your knowledge and experience in optimizing and maintaining agile teams in IT. You will also lead conversations, consult with other groups, and use your knowledge to align the various team members. You will be able to bring in off-the-shelf technologies and work with internal teams to develop customs systems. This role requires both leadership skills and interpersonal skills to be successful.  Key Responsibilities:•    Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.•    Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.•    Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.•    Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently.•    Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization•    Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan with a tight grip on Agile estimating, planning, and forecasting.•    Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through consistent communication between teams and program level and critical stakeholders and measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.Minimum Requirements:•    10+ years of experience in software development •    5+ years of relevant demonstrated experience in delivering Agile software solutions.•    Solid understanding of software development lifecycle.•    Expert knowledge of Agile project management practices•    PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred•    Demonstrated Experience overseeing projects with at least ten team members, including developers, quality engineers, localization, user experience, and product managers.•    Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques•    Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques•    Experience in Finance domain preferred•    Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skillsAbout Us:Genesys® powers more than 25 billion of the world’s best customer experiences each year.
