You will join a team with a start-up feel and the scale of an industry leader, to help build and deliver our hugely ambitious growth plans. The back-end engineering team are key to the success of the product.  They are responsible for collecting and shaping billions of unique data points, to allow users to access it and analyze it. We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Java Engineer to work on some of our most challenging and exciting opportunities as we scale up our growing team. What do you need to be successful? Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum 2+ years of Java development experience Good understanding of Linux Experience in microservice design and implementation including API design and implementation Attention to details. Tendency to double check what you are doing Readiness to learn new technologies Proficient English communication skills, verbal and written  Additionally, experience in the following is welcomed: Experience with stream processing (Spark, Flink, or similar) Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Grafana Experience in AWS, Azure or any other public cloud Hands-on with Terraform, Helm, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar technologies Understanding of CI/CD processes Any development experience in PythonAbout Genesys:Every year, Genesys® orchestrates more than 70 billion remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
