Senior Application Support Analyst-Finance

This is a unique position which requires deep functional and technical expertise coupled with the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Person in this role will be part of the offshore Delivery and Support team working closely with US IT team and business team in delivering project and support activities. The person in this role will perform 70% Functional & 30% Technical activities with customer first approach, highly collaborative, and constantly seek input to ensure success.Primary Responsibilities:Provide production support to finance and procurement teamWork on configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissionsBuild custom reports, alerts and notificationsWork with business consulting team to deliver solution including customization, scripting, integrations & support case resolutionsAdvise on how to leverage out-of-the-box solutions, as well as when to customizeCoordinate / execute application upgrades and testingParticipate in QA testing and coordinate UAT with business and other IT teamsSolves complex problems by working with cross-functional teams from IT and business across regionsBe a subject matter expert and train/mentor teammates and business personnel as neededReady to be trained in other applications used in Finance and P2P domainProvide Level 2 and 3 support on service incidentsRequirementsOverall, more than 7 years of IT development & Support experienceMore than 4 years of Application support experience covering Finance, Procurement and Travels & Expense functionsDemonstrated working Experience in 2 or more of these applications: Coupa, NetSuite and ConcurStrong knowledge of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay functionsProven ability to understand the business processes of the organization and the core application environments.Sound knowledge in ticketing tools like ServiceNowGood influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders across business functions.Knowledge in Agile processAbility to quickly adapt to the changes and manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change effectively.Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.Self-motivated and able to work on critical tasks independently and as a member of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skillBachelor's degree or master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys® orchestrates more than 70 billion remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
