This highly skilled person understands how to take technical material and explain the concepts clearly, concisely and logically. The person shall demonstrate a developed technical writing style that generates interest in the Genesys solutions. This person will be accountable to the RFP team to assist in delivering accurate proposal technical writing for proposals in the Americas region and report to the Manager, Proposal Technical Writers-Americas.What You’ll Do:  In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Deliver competitive, high-quality proposal technical writing to Genesys prospects and customers. Acquire and organize technical source material for the creation of proposal technical writing. Participate in the RFP Life Cycle which includes: qualification, kick-off and status meetings, analysis of requirements and strategy development, product discussion, risk assessment/mitigation, and development of the Genesys value proposition specific to the requirements of prospects. Interact with Genesys subject matter experts to complete business and technical responses. Ensure appropriate content is captured in the RFP response database, by being a contributing owner and working with the Product Management and Product Marketing teams.Work supportively with the proposal technical writing team to ensure appropriate coverage of all active proposals.Continually seek to improve existing content and processes through database administration. Maintain a high level of knowledge of Genesys solutions and products in order to produce quality and timely responses. Follow corporate style guides to ensure a global consistent look and feel for proposal technical writing. About You:You must possess a bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field.Minimum 6-10 years of experience.Have experience with Response Management Systems, preferably RFPIO.Language: English (written and spoken).Exposure to product, technology, and industry knowledge; preference towards Genesys solutions.Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to collaboratively work cross functionally with high performance internal teams, i.e. solution consulting, product management and product marketing.Demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, a good communicator, organized and possess excellent writing skills.Must have positive, problem-solving attitude and good judgment prioritizing workload in fast paced environment, with an ability to work multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Must be a team player, also able to self-start and work independently.Excellent judgment, confident and comfortable, with a strong work ethic. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook.Experience working with technical solutions, including familiarity with contact center software, telecommunications technology and standards, network-based solutions.Desired Skills and Experience:Database management.Genesys Cloud CX product knowledge.Graphics experience.Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
