We have the best opportunity for you to demonstrate your testing skills and be part of a high performing team delivering Workforce Management capabilities.As a Sr. Software Developer in Test, you will be designing test strategies for new features developed for our ever-growing Genesys Cloud Platform. You will spearhead the testing effort as a member of a cross functional team including Product Management, Development, UX, and Documentation. Responsibilities include understanding the architecture and design decisions, defining and implementing new tests, evaluating the end user experience, and asserting the overall quality of the feature.Some details about what you’ll do:Participate in charter meetings and collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to understand new feature intent, scope, and roadmap.Review design and architecture and evaluate risks and the scope of testing required. Develop a test plan and strategy with delivery team to ensure appropriate test coverageEstimate the testing effort and time required to deliver new featuresDesign and implement new automated tests for APIs, UIs or Mobile AppsCoordinate exploratory testing and participate in Bug hunts to gather feedback on user experienceMaintain automated test jobs in our TestNG based framework by triaging failed automation test executions in our Jenkins pipelines and report defects and make fixes/updates to test codeParticipate in Design and Code Reviews to provide feedback to other engineers and improve our testing frameworkRequirements:5+ years of experience in professional software testingObject oriented programming with Java or similarJenkins or equivalent CI/CD toolsDesigning test plans for cloud softwareUI Testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress or ProtractorTest frameworks such as TestNG or JUnitREST API testing (functional and automation)Build tools such as Maven or GradleVersion control such as gitPluses:Mobile testing (iOS and Android) - Espresso, XCUI, AppiumKnowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as EC2, S3 and LambdaExperience with Sumo Logic, New Relic or other monitoring toolsExperience testing microservices and end-to-end usage of them within a multi-tenant cloud applicationExperience with accessibility and compliance testing (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI)Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceTelehealth coverageFlexible work schedules and work from home opportunitiesDevelopment and career growth opportunitiesOpen Time OffAbout Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
