This role entails a personal contribution to the Services Sales objectives and goals for the region and is open for the UKI region, remote-based with some visits to our UK Head Offices.As a Services Engagement Director, you will show strong expertise in identifying strategic business opportunities for the organization and achieving healthy business growth within the region. This position requires a person who can lead from the front, understands the market in which we operate to identify opportunities, along with sales experience and strong commercial insights. The role requires you to build a close relationships with our Product Sales and Pre-sales teams to define regional and vertical-oriented business development plans, create and maintain key relationships and negotiate and close business deals. This position will have quarterly financial targets (bookings and project profitability) that must be met in order for the organisation to attain projected revenue and build consulting services backlog. The role requires someone passionate for technology and disciplined in self-learning. In order to be able to sell professional services to our Genesys Cloud solution you need to understand the solution, and the solution being Genesys Cloud, is a fast evolving one. The role requires someone understanding the basics of project management, planning and budgeting, for what services we sell will need to be delivered by our project manager and consultants. And while the role is not a Technical one, a good understanding of Contact Centre business or SaaS is required, ideally including experience of Cloud based solutions. Being a people person able to easily build connections and relationships cross-functionally will definitely be a must in this role.The role comes with high exposure to our in region leadership team and forms a good basis for personal development and growth.Key Responsibilities:The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to). • Align with Sales leadership as a member of the Genesys pursuit teams• Pursue Professional Services sales leads and prospective clients• Show the ability to lead and assume Sales responsible in the region by helping to set the strategy• Network and develop strong business relationships. Contribute to strategic and tactical planning for Professional Services• Initiate and build client relationships, delivering internal as well as Customer facing presentations and proposals• Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions & customer buying strategies in order to negotiate and close business deals• Generate a pipeline of services orders to attain financial objectives• Build strong relationships with the key partners of Genesys• Creation of offer documentation, and associated reporting• Travel up to 25% to customers to deliver presentations (the mostly UK + IE region)Skills & Experience Required:• Degree qualified in computer technology, or related technical discipline, or equivalent professional technical experience and two years of related experience • 8+ years in a business setting with at least five years of experience in customer-facing sales within a business solutions telecommunications environment• Ability to work effectively both individually and with a team• Strong interpersonal and presentation proficiency, and excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong People management skills to run a team of people successfully• Proven success in sales - lead generation, and relationship management.• Able to negotiate and discuss and build a consensus case influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations• UK-based possessing excellent English language skills• Capable of accurate working Able to perform under pressure, often to tight deadlines, and handling multiple simultaneous requests, prioritizing the workload.• Excellent MS Office skills• Salesforce CRM experience is a plus• Experience in Commercial or legal documentation creation• Experience and knowledge of cloud computing environments• Good understanding of accounting concepts related to P&L and balance sheet• Demonstrated sophisticated skills in business modelling and valuation• Experience in conducting and coordinating financial and legal due diligenceBenefits:Flexible work schedules and work from home options.Development and career growth opportunities.Life AssurancePension PlanMedical InsuranceCompetitive salary + variable #LI-Remote#LI-RK1About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
