We're looking for someone with proven work experience in this profession and writing practices describing the value of complex enterprise services implementations. You will work in a cross-functional team environment to gather information to create and maintain technical documentation. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with innovative strategies for technical content production and deployment, including AI, video creation and delivery. The Content Management Team and Technical Writers are key to the success of our customers and engineers. This role will have direct impact on how answers are found, documented and used in solving technical casework. Job Responsibilities:Develop and publish content across multiple knowledge bases and authoring tools. Organize source material in customer-facing documentation that aligns with Genesys Knowledge Articles Style Guide.Work closely with Genesys teams to ensure timely delivery and communication of software product releases.Work with other technical writing and editorial team members to ensure consistent structure, tone, language, and styling.Continually seek to improve existing documentation processes and content.Address documentation backlog in concert with SMEs to ensure content remains up to date.Stay up to date on technical content trends and best practices for SaaS based organizationsObtain and maintain Genesys product knowledge and stay up to date on product features and changesMinimum Requirements:2+ years of technical writing experienceAbility to prioritize and deliver technical writing projects in alignment with product release cycles.Experience with professional technical writing tools and wiki markup/HTML to create and manage technical publications online.Familiarity with project management basics and approval workflows and processes.Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with online content-delivery tools and platforms.Experience in working with complex technical solutions.Desired experience includes familiarity with contact-center software, telecommunications technology and standards, network-based solutions, or other highly technical systems.Experience with Salesforce knowledge article editor, including editing in HTML source code.#LI-RemoteCompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
