This is a unique position which requires deep functional and technical expertise coupled with the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. In this role, you will partner across the organizations to analyze current state needs and challenges, identify improvement and automation opportunities, develop a backlog of user requirements, propose business and system architectures, best practices, initiate proof of concept effort for specific capabilities and work with IT development team to enable the product(s) – both off the shelf and custom. What this role isn’t:This role is not about taking orders or troubleshooting. This role is about diving deep, solving problems, and being a collaborative partner to IT & business stakeholders.What you’ll bring to the table:You should have deep functional expertise in Revenue Recognition domain with a proven track record of configuring Zuora Revenue end to end processes in Revenue/ERP systems, driving transformation, standardizing processes, and technology. You’ll leverage your experience owning and implementing solutions for complex tech businesses, including SaaS subscription & consumption revenue model. You’ll need to be excellent at building trust with IT and Business partners, and you are adaptive and lead with empathy.Some details about what you’ll do:Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders, with a focus on administration and support utilizing technologies available across complex platforms. The scope of systems and processes will be focused on Zuora RevPro, and solutions that interact with the revenue platform. Integrate, customize, and deliver enterprise-level software deployed within the context of Revenue / Financial applications.Leverage strong communication and relationship building skills to identify requirements, craft solutions, and secure client approval.Take lead on providing technical expertise to help improve processes, drive scale and deliver high value solutions supporting a robust Enterprise Architecture of Revenue Systems at Genesys.Prepare mock data to mimic Client’s business scenarios and perform unit testing.Coordinate with the integration team to support new enhancements and debug system issuesWork with operations and business partners to drive technology, business, and Financial Systems best practicesSupport and manage the change management process, including monthly/quarterly certifications for SOX complianceDesired Skills and Experience:Proven experience in building templates, profiles, policy & rules setup, object models, adjustments, settlements, renewals process in Zuora Revpro In-depth experience delivering robust financial systems solutionsAdvanced RevPro familiarity (level 2 carves, bundle configuration, data augmentation, stage validation, etc.) is preferred. High proficiency in translating business cases into solutions, leveraging the out of the box configuration capabilities of Zuora as well as technical solutions based on Zuora APIs, data exports and loads and advanced configuration. Experience with solution implementation in the areas of order-to-cash, finance, and accounting.Experience in integrating financial data across enterprise level applications is an added advantage.In-depth experience delivering robust financial systems solutionsKnowledge of revenue practices, including ASC-605 and ASC-606#LI-RemoteCompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
