Your potential is waiting; why are you?Genesys is seeking an experienced corporate strategy manager to support strategic planning and research projects within the company. This position will have a crucial impact on defining and creating the corporate strategy and will be focused on driving customer and employee experience (CX & EX) market research projects for the executive team and other internal stakeholders. There will be the opportunity to participate in business transformation and M&A activities, as well.This role is ideal for someone with a strong corporate strategy background and direct experience in the customer experience, contact center, or employee experience markets (either directly or as a consultant/observer). ResponsibilitiesProvide a point of view on the customer experience, contact center, or employee experience markets.Manage research projects alongside internal stakeholders and external analyst vendors.Gain a deep understanding of your research focus and be able to provide insightful and structured analysis of the subject area. Have a clear understanding of the company and strategy and be able to have a point of view and opinion on a large variety of strategic topics.Create and deliver executive level presentations and documents that clearly describe the outcome of the research and recommendations.Partner with cross-functional, international teams to proactively understand their needs as it relates to improving their decision making.Must have ability to travel up to 20% of time (travel will be for “purposeful presence” only).Minimum Requirements5+ years of experience in the customer experience, contact center, or employee experience markets for a Cloud/SaaS organization.Direct (or consulting) experience in the contact center market is strongly preferred, but not required.Experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, or strategy is required, but sales, finance, product marketing, or product management will also be considered.Experience at a top-tier consulting firm is a plus, but not required.Applicants with lower tenure but strong experience will be considered.Experience working in a global organization.Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, marketing, communications or a related field.Ideal CandidateYou possess excellent analytical and research skills; the ability to organize and summarize large amounts of information in a structured way and draw key conclusions.You are a strong independent contributor that can drive your own projects, when necessary.You can synthesize technical material and identify key insights for various audiences.You are determined and persistent; you enjoy autonomous research to find key relevant information and strategic intelligence.You have high emotional intelligence and can build productive & positive working relations with co-workers with varying technical & business backgrounds.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong PowerPoint skills.You can create compelling content and narratives to maximize readership and adoption of ideas.#LI-DJ1#LI-RemoteCompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
