Sr. Telecom Engineer

Your potential is waiting; why are you?As a Sr. Telecom Engineer you will be part of an internal global team that is responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining a resilient global voice network. Need to have the ability to work both independently and with the team across multiple regions. Will need to engage with other service teams both internally and externally to support the company's business strategy.Key Responsibilities:The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to).Design, Implement and support a multi-region fault tolerant voice network which includes Session Border Controllers, Media Gateways and other SIP based products.Monitor, maintain and document all of our VoIP/TDM related platforms.Work with TSPs/Carriers and Telecom Vendors.Documentation of architecture, design, procedures, checklists, and other system related documentation.Monitoring traffic usage for customers and identifying potential problems.Participation and scheduling of L2 On-Call shift coverage.Will need to provide support on occasional after hours activities.Minimum Requirements:4+ years overall VoIP systems experienceExtensive Knowledge of SIP, RTP/SRTPExcellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal & written)Prior experience with Session Border Controllers is requiredDesirable Skills:Strong knowledge of Wireshark or other IP protocol analyzers.Experience with Ribbon SBCs/PSX would be a plus.Knowledge of IP Networking, TCP/IP, UDP, TCP, NAT, VLAN, QoS etc.#LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid #LI-Onsite #LI-CP1Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
