We are always helping our fellow team members with challenges and providing assistance with solutions.  We are very collaborative and support each other in many aspects throughout the development process.   Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SRE Engineer to join our team. They will work closely with development teams to ensure the reliability and availability of our services. This role will focus on implementing resiliency best practices, promoting observability, implementing SLIs/SLOs, and promoting chaos engineering practices. Key Responsibilities: Lead efforts to implement and promote resiliency best practices throughout the organization Enable and promote observability of our systems and applications Participate in on-call rotation for platform incidents Implement SLIs/SLOs to help ensure service level agreements are met Assist development teams with performing root cause analysis of production incidents and work with them to implement preventative measures Promote chaos engineering practices to test system and application resiliency Design and host Game Days to test and validate disaster recovery playbooks Work with architecture and development teams to develop reliability patterns, author documentation and present findings internally Help ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements Mentor and coach junior SRE team members Collaborate with other technical teams to promote cross-functional knowledge sharing  Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in software engineering  2+ years of experience in a SRE or related role Strong experience with resiliency practices (observability, SLIs/SLOs, root cause analysis, and chaos engineering) Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) Experience with multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, etc.) Understanding of scalability and availability in distributed systems Experience with observability tools such as (Open Telemetry, New Relic, Sumo Logic, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong leadership and mentoring skills #LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid #LI-Onsite #LI-CP1 Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
