Manufacturing Test Engineer

As a member of the Operations Quality-Audit-Manufacturing Engineering team, the MFG Test Engineer will ensure Sonos maintains its commitment to absolutely the highest quality customer experience possible. What You'll DoWork with the product development team to develop the MFG test strategy and design testability (DfT) for new products.Develop functional test stations for PCBA and Final Assembly production lines.Develop and improve manufacturing test software with LabView/Teststand.Work with the MFG Test Engineering team in Asia to implement the manufacturing test process, ICT and functional test stations at our contract manufacturing partner locations.Work with the SW team to define diagnostics and production SW requirements for MFG test, manage and validate firmware releases for NPI builds and MP milestone releases.Support NPI Prototype builds at our CM partner locations in Asia. What You’ll NeedResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.5-8 years of experience in development and implementation of manufacturing test processes for high volume consumer electronic production lines.5+ years experience in designing automated functional test fixtures using LabVIEW/TestStand is a must.Experience with AP audio analyzer, Litepoint RF, SoundCheck audio or Klippel acoustic test measurement equipment is a plus.Experience in working with Diagnostic firmware and the Linux operating system.BSEE or equivalent.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with teams located in various sites to develop MFG test processes. Willingness to travel to Asia (15%) to work with our CM’s.#LI-RemoteWe consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience and qualifications.  This job is also eligible for discretionary bonuses as well as an opportunity to become a Sonos shareholder because all full time employees are eligible for stock grants.  The minimum base pay may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions.
