In an effort to sustain and optimize this growth plan, we are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join the Global Payroll Team and support the payroll administration across Sonos. In collaboration with the Global People Team, Finance Team and the external payroll partners, you’ll be exposed to a broad cross-functional stakeholder group with a vast scope for personal development and growth. What You’ll Do:Provide global payroll support to the payroll manager in a Workday (US) and Celergo/CloudPay (international) environmentCollate, process and review changes to incidental payments, such as salaries and benefitsVerify and audit data processed by external payroll providersPrepare salary, tax and social contribution payments Provide timely and accurate response to employees’ payroll related queriesSupport the timely and accurate payroll processing for Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia and TaiwanResponsible for system integrations, reporting and reconciliations, including general ledger, internal and external reporting, year-end reportingPartner with payroll team on the Workday payroll integration build for APAC countries and local payroll system changes or enhancementsWork closely with payroll team and vendors in identifying need for enhanced services, system revisions, formulating system requirements and testingCollaborate with cross-functional departments (HR, Accounting, Finance, IT, etc.) to identify and implement process improvements to drive excellence and eliminate riskRespond to payroll inquiries from management, employees and third partiesSupport internal and external audit activitiesResponsible for developing and maintaining process documentationStay current on payroll regulations and best practicesWhat You'll NeedResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will also be consideredFive or more years of relevant end-to-end payroll experience across multiple countriesExperience with Workday HCMPreferred Qualifications:Experience with CloudPaySelf-starter with demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail and motivation to recommend process improvementsTeam player who likes to be challenged with an evolving environment, which requires being agile and flexible in reprioritizing daily operational needsHigh quality written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally and globally in a growing and ever-changing environmentProven ability to work with confidential information, always maintaining discretion and professionalismStrong interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate and problem solveFlexibility to work with a global diverse work team in different time zonesA strong affinity with data with a high degree of competence using reporting tools such as Google Sheets and Microsoft ExcelA mindset aligned to the Sonos values; Respect, Transparency, Collaboration and Ownership #LI-RemoteWe consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience and qualifications.  This job is also eligible for discretionary bonuses as well as an opportunity to become a Sonos shareholder because all full time employees are eligible for stock grants.  The minimum base pay may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions. The starting minimum base pay for this role is: $77,000We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including open time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other benefits subject to eligibility requirements. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
