It’s about impact, not location.Role Summary The Sr. Supply Chain Financial Analyst is a key member of the Sonos Supply Chain FP&A Org, supporting 30+ business partners and their annual COGS. As a trusted business partner and advisor to the supply chain organization, this person will be responsible for delivering an annual operating plan, quarterly forecasting, results validation and reporting, supporting the quarterly earnings process, long range planning and KPI achievement and business case support for the logistics and distribution organization. This position requires a deep understanding of GAAP accounting principles, clear communication with key partners across multiple geographies, attention to detail, and a process and efficiency mindset. This position reports to the Supply Chain Finance Manager. What You'll DoPrepare annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts and monthly reporting for product cost, OpEx and CapEx, working with the supply chain and sourcing teams to identify key drivers and quantify relevant risks and opportunities.Own month-end reporting that gives insight to variances across the teams you support, but also articulates the impact to the current quarters’ forecast; become the subject matter expert on storytelling for all variances versus Plan and ForecastDrive planning and forecasting process with business partners; creating a calendar, using templates, managing Anaplan inputs, and creating forecast to forecast reporting with explanations.Provide data and supporting documentation to the accounting team to assure completeness and accuracy of our monthly and quarterly financial results.Partner with accounting team to suggest expense recognition policies that enable accurate gross margin reporting at the product level.Support Core FP&A team and finance leadership in quarterly earnings preparation, helping them understand key cost drivers in the logistics and distribution spaceFocus on leveraging technology to support process improvement opportunities to improve forecast efficiency and accuracy; assist with development of that new technology Identify and lead process improvement opportunities across FP&A, accounting, and other partners to improve efficiency, reporting and performance.Ad hoc projects supporting key business partners within Finance and the Hardware Operations teams you support.What You'll NeedResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria.
