As part of the Sonos team, you’ll collaborate with people of all styles, skill sets, and backgrounds to realize our vision while fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do the best work of their lives.Role Summary:The Sonos FP&A team is expanding our use of Anaplan and is searching for an Anaplan Model Builder to join our team.  In this role, you will work closely with FP&A leaders, operations and data and technology teams to ensure that our Forecasting & Reporting systems robustly support all FP&A needs.  You will be a key contributor in developing and implementing our multi-year strategic roadmap for the evolution of Forecasting-Reporting-and Analysis tools. You will be responsible for building in Anaplan, and working with SONOS’s Global Anaplan team to connect with current systems, develop forecasting and analysis models, dashboards and then porting information to our Reporting tools. The Senior Analyst, Finance Systems will also be responsible for working with our Enterprise Data Product Manager to support business evolution and to improve our data structure, integrity and availability. The role reports to our Anaplan Architect/Sr. Manager of Financial Systems for FP&A.   What You’ll Do:Manage the day to day support for our Anaplan model including master data management & hierarchies, data ingestion and extraction and version and user managementPartner with FP&A teammates to understand business requirements and translate those to build models and dashboards to enhance our forecasting and reporting processesWork with our Anaplan Architect to develop, prioritize and implement our Anaplan roadmap while optimizing the models for efficiency and user experienceParticipate in user training and model documentation to improve expertise and expand the adoption of Anaplan across the FP&A organization Work with our Data systems, IT & Security, and the operations Anaplan team to integrate systems, improving end-to-end automation, timeliness, accuracy and structure of forecasting and dataEnable and enhance our reporting solutions to automate the creation of standard reporting packages in Anaplan or other reporting solutionsWhat You’ll Need:“Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.”Basic Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have applied experience with Anaplan and data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau or Microstrategy).  You will be able to drive development, determine priorities and have a strong work ethic as well as have 1-3 years of hands on Anaplan (or equivalent system) development, ideally in finance and forecasting implementationsAnaplan Model builder certification (Level 1 & 2) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hireThe ability to perform root cause analyses and propose solutionsDemonstrated success in working cross-functionally, determining priorities and relationship building to translate finance business requirements into working Anaplan modelsThe ability to coach other team members and expand their knowledge of how systems can best support business needs3-6 years of professional working experience Preferred Qualifications:A strong working knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, accounting concepts, business intelligence, reporting and analysis processes and toolsStrong Excel skillsExcellent project management and process improvement mindset Experience with SAP S/4HANAExperience with SQL or other data querying languages; data visualization tool experience a plusExperience with Dell BOOMI and/or other Anaplan integration partnersAnaplan Solution Architect certificationA bias for action and the desire to move quickly but methodically through challengesA passion for learning about Financial Planning & Analysis, with a mindset for building consensus while balancing requirements vs. nice to havesSelf-starter who demonstrates high energy and creativity with relentless customer focusAttention to detail, high integrity, self-aware, humble#LI-RemoteWe consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience and qualifications.  This job is also eligible for discretionary bonuses as well as an opportunity to become a Sonos shareholder because all full time employees are eligible for stock grants.  The minimum base pay may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions.
