As part of the Sonos team, you’ll collaborate with people of all styles, skill sets, and backgrounds to realize our vision while fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do the best work of their lives.As a systems administrator of Product Development (PD) Platforms at Sonos you will be part of a global team supporting systems and integrations for Product Development at Sonos.  You will support our Product Development teams with mCAD activities and integrations, engaging with Engineering teams including Mechanical, Industrial Design, Transducer, and Packaging.  The scope of this role includes the transition of these technical teams to Siemens Teamcenter PDM.This role requires experience in the technical systems support of Linux-based on premises platforms as well as a working knowledge of mCAD best practices and design artifacts.  Knowledge of AWS and cloud-based implementations is a plus.  In addition to actively supporting Sonos and Partner PDM users, you will be required to meet regularly with PD business owners to ensure a Center of Excellence for Teamcenter (and PTC Windchill in the interim).  Communication will be paramount to ensuring the needs of users are being met and that issues are properly escalated when necessary.  This role can be done from homeBuilding the world’s leading sound experience starts with the experience we provide for our people. That’s why we’ve been distributed from the start: initially between offices in Boston & Santa Barbara, and now with additional offices in Seattle, San Francisco, Louisville, London, Glasgow & Paris.What You’ll DoProvide global Siemens NX and TeamCenter customer support including training and troubleshooting mCAD issues.Manage PDM user accounts (internal and external) as needed.Provide onboarding for new hires and training for existing employees requiring mCAD access.  Provide support to external partners as requested.  Collaborate with team members who support Siemens NX and Arena PLM to drive efficiency and identify training and process gaps amongst users.Engage with internal IT teams and Siemens Support as needed to maintain the Siemens platforms.Engineer methodologies to drive consistency across teams who use mCAD while ensuring data quality and integrity.Engineer new ways to support mCAD users, driving self-help initiatives to ensure a level of support is available at all times for users.Administer, install and maintain other engineering softwares as neededProactively identify potential issues and recommend/implement preventative solutionsExcellent customer service and verbal communication skills to support teams in a global environment. Outstanding written communication skills using both technical and non‐technical terminologySkills You’ll NeedBasic Qualifications7+ years experience working with Siemens NX + TeamCenter, including administrator experience. Familiar with Teamcenter permissions model in order to support proper access controls by group, roles, etc to provide detailed auditsExperience in Teamcenter Access Manager, Workflows, Organizations, Visualization and ClassificationPossess knowledge of the mCAD design process and best practices and how PDM supports these processes.Understand the data associated with the mCAD process and the importance of data integrity in a system and across systems.Knowledge of the eCAD to mCAD integration and data exchange with NX is desiredExperience with data migration from one PDM to anotherExcellent working knowledge of Windows OSExperience delivering/maintaining AWS based cloud solutions or other cloud services a plusExperience with collaboration tools (such as Atlassian Confluence) and/or issue management tools (such as Jira) is a plus.Experience with Google Suite, Gdrive and Microsoft OfficePreferred QualificationsStrong communication skills and a proven ability to work cross functionally to support CAD users and consumers.Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills, including hardware, software, and networkingPassion for driving efficiencies in the mCAD platform and in user support, leveraging other corporate tools to improve user experience.Strong documentation skills to support training and improvements for stakeholdersPreferred location is EST US#LI-RemoteWe consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience and qualifications.  This job is also eligible for discretionary bonuses as well as an opportunity to become a Sonos shareholder because all full time employees are eligible for stock grants.  The minimum base pay may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions.
