Automation Infrastructure Engineer

You’ll design, develop, and improve test automation infrastructure and frameworks, continuous integration engines, artifact repositories, and workflow automation. Your goal is to make it easy and efficient for software tests to be executed in an automated workflow with reliable results for our development teams. If this sounds like you, let’s talk about this.ResponsibilitiesCI servers (Jenkins)Cloud infrastructure (AWS)Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)Source control management systems (Git and GitHub)Test frameworks (Pytest)Enterprise repository management systems (Artifactory)Workflow management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Google Suite)Communication with external stakeholdersPart of OnCall rotation to deal with critical issuesQualificationsComputer science degree or equivalent work experiencePrevious experience in an Software Developer in Test (SDET) or DevOps or related roleStrong Shell script experience (bash)Strong programming experience (Python, Java, Groovy)Experience automating workflows between source control systems (Git based), CI systems (Jenkins or other), and Agile project management tools (Jira or other)Experience with cloud based infrastructure (AWS or other)Experience with containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)Basic data analytics skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWe consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience and qualifications.  This job is also eligible for discretionary bonuses as well as an opportunity to become a Sonos shareholder because all full time employees are eligible for stock grants.  The minimum base pay may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions.
