It’s about impact, not location.Sonos is looking to hire an Account Executive for our Sonos Pro team. As one of the first hires on our newest go-to-market sales team, you'll have an outsized impact on our sales engine & a unique opportunity to help grow a new offering for commercial customers. We are looking for an Account Executive who will be responsible for exceeding sales targets through the sale of Sonos products and services. This individual will be responsible for navigating through organizations of many different sizes to demonstrate our offering.What You’ll DoBe a trusted advisor to help businesses apply our products and services in their locations.Develop strong product and industry knowledge to demonstrate and specify Sonos product and service offerings to prospective customers.Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, following up on leads, creating and executing compelling sales presentations and providing consistent follow-up.Manage the sales cycle from lead to close, including quote creation and contract negotiations.Utilize consultative selling skills to build trusted relationships with prospective customers.Conduct product demonstrations that convey value, handle objections and manage expectations.Leverage Salesforce for all customer management, communications, and sales funnel management.Ensure data integrity and accurate forecasting by entering and maintaining accurate and useful customer data, including customer contact information and interactions into Salesforce.Provide regular reporting of prospecting, pipeline and sales forecast through Salesforce.Offer continuous feedback to the Product team to help guide the product roadmap based on demo interactions.Develop strategies and coordinate cross-functional support throughout the sales cycle to ensure businesses have the best experience possible with Sonos.What You’ll NeedResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don’t apply for roles if they don’t meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.Basic Qualifications4+ years of experience in sales, sales development, and/or marketing.Sales experience in B2B SaaS.Experience utilizing CRM tools to manage relationships and drive sales growth (Salesforce experience is a plus).Exemplary relationship building skills.A clear track record of exceeding expectations and being successful in your past sales roles.Strong verbal and written communicator.Preferred QualificationsExperience selling commercial control systems and/or pro AV products.Comfort with ambiguity and can easily adapt to change.Self-motivator that thrives in a fast-paced environment.Humble team player and willing to be scrappy.Cold calling and strategic prospecting.Experience building a pipeline of new business opportunities.In depth experience selling technical products or services into commercial environments.A profound sense of ownership for your own results and the company’s overall success.Familiarity with Sonos products.#LI-Remote#LI-DNIWe consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience and qualifications.  This job is also eligible for discretionary bonuses as well as an opportunity to become a Sonos shareholder because all full time employees are eligible for stock grants.  The minimum base pay may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions. The starting minimum base pay for this role is: $91,000We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including open time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other benefits subject to eligibility requirements. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
