Reporting to the Senior Retail Director - Europe, this is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a growing business, the largest in EMEA, develop the team, build best in class partner relationships and drive positive change aligned to company and regional strategy. In this role, it is key to create a regional strategy through assessing the market opportunity and implementing through leading and mentoring a cross functional high performing team (direct and dotted line). Internally you will work closely with all functions (external Field Teams, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Legal, etc.) to ensure that strategies are being executed to the highest standard. The ideal candidate has a background in leadership of a dynamic premium/lifestyle commercial organisation and experience of working in the DACH region.What You’ll DoDevelop and lead the DACH commercial retail team to deliver on the strategy. Review our Go-to-Market approach and define a strong commercial plan to succeed in the market.Build on existing relationships working towards Sonos becoming a critically important strategic partner. to our top accounts, leading to effective GM/executive account relationships.Be accountable for sell-through forecasts and expectations for the region. Including improving the level and quality of insights from our key partners, and the provision of business insights from those partners in the pursuit of strengthening the category management approach.Work closely with interdisciplinary teams and excite the wider organisation in order to receive the right level of support and lever successful initiatives.Define and analyse KPIs (commerce, marketing) in order to improve our impact (test, learn, adapt, scale).Be a champion of our company strategy, and live our brand and our values.  What You’ll BringBasic qualifications: Deep understanding and a minimum 10+years’ experience in sales and marketing for a premium/lifestyle brand.Fluent in German and English.Preferred qualifications: Enterprise leadership - Proven track record of team leadership and a passion for developing teams ( direct / dotted). Ability to connect team’s work to higher level organisation outcomes. Strategic Thinking & Commercial Acumen - Demonstrated ability to create and drive data driven commercial strategies in the DACH region. Communication & Collaboration - Clear communicator with ability to work both internally as well as externally and at all levels (Marketing/ Commercial/Director/CEO Level). Hands-on and can-do attitude with a healthy part of empathy to work in cross-functional teams. Creativity & Results Oriented- Creativity and out of the box thinker  with a bias-to-action.
