As a Supply Chain Operations Manager, you'll lead a team focused on supply chain governance and compliance, supplier diversity, data and tool management, innovation and continuous improvement. You will work with Procurement to provide tools to help define, develop and improve the supply base and ensure its support to Sierra Space programs. Tools will range from day-to-day reference guides to business systems in support of an end-to-end Source-to-Pay approach. You will be responsible for thoughtful adherence to all Sierra Space Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations (internal and external) while maintaining business efficiency and flexibility. Responsible for timely execution of all personnel-related activities such as Time Sheet completion, Performance Evaluations, Salary Reviews, Succession Planning, etc. Responsible for leadership oversight and for ensuring Department/Team training. You'll establish priorities to maintain support, provide leadership and subject matter expertise to the Supply Chain team in order to support program milestones and delivery requirements, as well as coordinate with executive management, program management and other department managers to ensure the company’s material, planning and production objectives are supported. Additionally, you'll lead supply chain innovation and efficiency throughout Sierra Space by partnering with departments to support the company’s vision. You'll lead as a supply chain liaison within the business by collaborating with Operations, planning, and the logistics groups. You'll drive innovation by maximizing capabilities of current procurement management systems and seek out new advancements in technology and process. You'll drive the supply chain discovery process, lead implementation and deployment for complex internal projects. You'll ensure meaningful supply chain KPIs (key performance indicators) are set, measured and communicated across the organization to drive visibility on goals, as well as provide leadership to direct reports, including responsibility for your department’s performance, and leading negotiation efforts for major internal projects.Sierra Space, based in Louisville, Colorado with operations in Madison, Wisconsin, Durham, North Carolina, and Kennedy Space Center, Florida, designs and manufactures advanced spacecraft, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers and international organizations.
