The Sierra Space propulsion integration engineering team is the technical entity that enables propulsion components to function as an integrated system through the entire product life cycle. Our Engineers oversee propulsion systems through the phases of development, prototype, qualification, and flight. The position focuses primarily on product support, business planning, and advanced technology development. Product support includes the design of system interconnected hardware (such as ducting, structures, interface control), developing loads and design parameters for subsystems, reviewing and guiding requirements, implementing design for "XYZ" strategies (e.g., manufacturing, inspection, quality, fracture control, etc.…), and supporting the design of smaller one-off types of components. Business planning and proposal guidance relating to the aforementioned product support areas is required for this position.
