The API management solutions are at the front line of the digital economy transformation and Layer7 API Gateway is an extensible scalable high-performance gateway to connect the most important data and applications across any combination of cloud and on-premises environments.Responsibilities:Work within our Agile team and build strong, collaborative relationship with product owner and other stakeholders   Create and review test strategies, test plans, and test cases considering non-functional requirements as wellAdd and refine acceptance criteria and the definition of done for user stories considering different quality aspectsCreate, review, maintain and enhance automated test suites to enable CI/CDContribute to manual and automated testing of the API Gateway productCoach and mentor less experienced team members on best QA practicesMonitor quality metrics and ensure that the defined quality targets are metThrive in a fast-paced environment that balances autonomy and teamworkTo qualify for this position, you must have:Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Quality AssuranceMasters degree or Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent degreeKnowledge of best practices of manual and automated testing for APIs, distributed systems, and desktop UIExtensive test automation experience in testing APIs/backend using JavaExperience in working with CI/CD pipelinesThorough understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, tools, and processesExperience working in Agile development environmentComfortable working on Linux/*nix platforms and familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)To really stand out as the perfect person for this role, you may also have:Strong troubleshooting skills for various APIs and network protocols used in distributed systems (REST, SOAP, gRPC, TCP/IP, WebSocket, etc.) and related security technologies (TLS, JWT, SAML, etc.)Working knowledge of cloud native platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), Kubernetes or OpenShiftExperience in designing and implementing complex test pipelines for CI/CD using Jenkins or similar toolsExtensive experience in transforming manual tests into automated test suitesBroadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.  We will consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability status, medical condition, pregnancy, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.  We will also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records consistent with local law.If you are located outside USA, please be sure to fill out a home address as this will be used for future correspondence.
