The candidate is responsible for design, development and maintenance of Network Protocols for the Fabric Operating System software running on Brocade storage networking switches. In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving escalation issues reported on the product. Responsibilities:Work closely with product management and system architects to implement networking solutions for Fibre Channel and storage networking switches.Involves feature development, maintenance, and documentation.Additionally support debugging of customer issue as required.Qualifications:5+ years of work experience implementing C software. Embedded systems knowledge is a plus.Experience in developing and debugging Linux software. Linux kernel knowledge is a plus.Knowledge of Fibre Channel, Ethernet, TCP/IP and/or other similar protocols.Experience using scripting languages to automate unit tests is a plus.Outstanding analytical and troubleshooting skills.BS or MS in EE or CSAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $91,200 - $152,000.This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
