Hardware Engineer

If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Designs and develops evaluation boards to test semiconductor products.  Evaluates design goals and implements into hardware: design conception, package pin out feasibility studies, part selection, PCB material selection, PCB stack up, and schematic capture. Will have responsibility or over sees responsibility for layout, simulation, board fabrication and assembly.  Responsibilities catered to board design:  proper parts identification use and interconnects; some mechanical knowledge for typical board outline requirements, typical mechanical stability and some general brackets or fixtures. Coordinates designs between analog chip designers, digital chip designers, package engineers, device verification test (DVT) engineers and product line managers. Candidate must be an excellent communicator both written and verbally. Able to host design reviews. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
