They are Trusted Advisors that our customers depend on for strategy, product insight, technical architecture, mentoring, and when needed, leading by example for deployment, configuration, and integration of Broadcom solutions.The resident consultant will engage with stakeholder developers, architects, hardware engineers, and project managers to facilitate the integration of performance monitoring technology, and performance management best practices, into client products and servicesDesired Skills / Qualifications:A qualified candidate should have 12-15 years of experience in driving technology adoption, including contributions to all aspects of the technology life cycle including product design and development, prototyping, validation, documentation, services delivery, problem resolution, marketing, and education.  You will be confident in working among all levels and a variety of stakeholders including consultants, technologists, business analysts, and executive management.You have at least 5 years of experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM), carrying out the following activities:Driving strategy, delivery and adoption of Application Performance Management (APM)Subject-matter expert in application monitoring.  Significant experience with monitoring technology (CA-APM) required and knowledge of additional vendors including AppDynamics, NewRelic, Splunk, Dynatrace. Subject-matter expert in the deployment and effective utilization of monitoring technology including deployment planning, sizing, and best practices. Installing APM monitoring agents on Java Virtual Machines and using Browser Agents and/or .Net, Php, GO, NodeJS applications and other environmentsCreation of monitoring Dashboards,Reports, and alerts, on end user performance metrics and other key application and infrastructure metrics, such as errors and stalled transactionsIdentification of application baselines and departure from these with the ability to relate different metrics from disparate data sourcesInvestigation and communication of client application problems from production and performance-test environments, to document the cause and effect,  employing automated and manual analysis of metrics, errors and log files (application troubleshooting)Extension and documentation of APM monitoring agents using EPA or IA agent technology for additional visibility into the client application architectureIntegration of external monitoring systems and sources (alarms and metrics and Dashboards) with Broadcom DX OI or DX IM or other forKnowledge of the application development lifecycle including developer tools, testing tools, deployment practices, and production incident resolution and mitigationPreferred skills:●      Minimum 5 years experiences working with CA APM 22.x and earlier●      Experience in Broadcom SaaS Digital Experience (DX) platform consisting of Operational intelligence (OI), DX APM, and App Experience Analytics (AXA)●      Knowledge of Cloud types and environments, such as MS Azure●      Knowledge of databases (e.g. Oracle, DB2, MongoDB), such as DB2●      Knowledge of scripting and query languages (e.g. SQL, Java, Unix shell)●      Certification on Broadcom DXAPM (preferred not needed)●      Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, etc.)Additional Requirements:Experience : Bachelors and 12+ years of related experienceU.S. Citizenship is requiredExcellent written and oral communications skills; excellent presentation and public speaking skillsStrong coaching and mentoring skillsDemonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve resultsRoles may be a mix of customer site and remote work depending on customer needsAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $111,000 - $185,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
