Broadcom’s UK offices employ over 100 engineers involved in all aspects of chip design: from architecture, specification and software support through to GDS creation.The team is part of the Broadband & Video Group (BVG) which produces designs for a number of Broadcom’s broadband access businesses: including PON, Set Top Box and Cable Modem. We are the market leader in these businesses, with an engineering team focused on delivering world class designs to challenging timescales.Specific responsibilities include verification of new IP cores, integration of Broadcom’s world-leading IP, and chip level verification of large SoCs in leading edge technologies. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to own all aspects of verification through test plan specification, test/testbench implementation and debug. Although the role is based in the Verification Team, we value flexibility in all of our engineering staff, and there will be opportunities to extend experience into other front end work such as RTL design, processor design, chip integration and emulation.A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology related field is required.
